THE MET BREUER

Opening November 28, Epic Abstraction: Pollock to Herrera at the Met Breuer explores large-scale abstract painting, sculpture and assemblage beginning in the 1940s and continuing on through the 21st century. Masterpieces from icons of Abstract Expressionism like Jackson Pollock and Louise Nevelson will be shown in conversation with lesser known works from international artist, such as the Hungarian artist Ilona Keseru. a gallery of works by the next generation of artists, including Ellsworth Kelly and Frank Stella, will also be on view.
