CROCKER ART MUSEUM

The Crocker Art Museum has announced an ongoing exhibition of 41 landscape and still life paintings from California artists, created from the 1870s to 1940s. Nature’s Gifts: Early California Paintings from the wendy will rich Collection includes detailed depictions of the Sierra Nevada scenery alongside Barbizon-inspired and tonalist landscapes.the early California artworks manifest a profound sense of place, affording a unique opportunity to connect with the land for those who experience it.
