This is the key premise of The Good Dinosaur, which centers on a teenage Apatosaurus named Arlo who sets out on a quest to restore peace after a traumatic event rattles his tranquil community. Along the way, he meets an unlikely travel companion: a young human boy named Spot. Peterson was removed from the production in 2013, and the Pixar Brain Trust has since taken on different parts of the film to be completed.
