Mayors, stop the murders
Iam a moderately patient person, so I sit here patiently waiting — waiting for what you say.
I am waiting for the televised funerals of the six minors in Chicago that includes a 1 year old and a 3-year-old.
Two individuals were recently killed by police and they had grand funerals televised on all the major networks and cable outlets. One even had three funerals, each grander than the previous one. But these dear children are murdered, the media mentions once and then if mentioned again it is by their age.
So, I wait patiently while the scene is repeated every weekend while the mayors of Chicago and NYC, to name a few, blame COVID-19 and policing tactics for the violence. Heaven help us if the mayors of mayor cities do not put a stop to these senseless murders.
