Born Ma y 23, 1927, Santa Monica Calif, Died Nov. 26 2020, Port Hueneme, Calif. Linc grew up in Santa Monica, Calif., and graduated from Santa Monica High School in 1945, having excelled in football and gymnastics. Attended University of Utah on a football scholarshi­p.

Drafted into the army in 1946 and honorably discharged in 1947 as World War II came to an end.

Bought a gas station business in Santa Monica which he managed for a few years.

In 1949 Linc married Glenna, his wife of 71 years 1955 moved to Lancaster, Calif., bought a business known as AVENUE I AUTO & TRUCK eventually expanding to another location creating NORTH DIVISION BRAKE AND AUTO. Daughters, Linda, Shelly and Robin all graduated Lancaster schools and married.

Retired in 1990, 1994 moved to Ventura, Calif. Linc was an active member of AA from 1956-2020, the last 64 years of his life.

Linc was active in his church throughout his life. He and Glenna spent their leisure time water skiing with their daughters and YMCA activities. Linc was also a scuba diver and he and Glenna travelled to many dive sites in the world. When they retired in Ventura, Linc took up surfing and volunteere­d at the Channel Islands Maritime Museum.

Linc and Glenna continued their love of travel by land and sea.

Linc went to be with the Lord, Thanksgivi­ng morning. His family celebrated his life that day by giving thanks for his life, sharing their memories and being grateful for the legacy he gave them. Linc is survived by his wife Glenna, his three daughters, six grandchild­ren, and six great grandchild­ren. He will be remembered as a loving devoted father, husband and friend with a ready smile and quick wit.
