Lancaster crowns its newest community royalty

Nataleigh Rosas, six, the daughter of Maleigh and Alejandro Rosas of Lancaster, was crowned Tiny Miss Lancaster on May 29.

She is a first-grader at Eastside Elementary and enjoys dancing, singing, riding her pony Sprinkles, modeling and 4H. She plans on bringing awareness to children’s literacy and raise money for abandoned and homeless and sick pets.

Her future plans include becoming a veterinari­an.

Makenzee Williams, seven, the daughter of Markee and Kenya Williams of Lancaster, was crowned Little Miss Lancaster on May 28.

She is a third-grader at Columbia Elementary and loves teaching her younger sisters their ABCs, shapes and colors and reading to them. She enjoys helping people feel good about themselves and she enjoys helping her mom cook and clean around the house (unless it’s her room). She also loves baking and putting stylish outfits together for her younger sister.

Makenzee would like to be a fashion designer and a gymnastics’ teacher — generally something that is helping others.

Grace Khosrowaba­di, 11, the daughter of Allen and Brandy Khosrowaba­di of Lancaster, was crowned Young Miss Lancaster on May 29 at Real Life Church Lancaster.

She is a sixth-grader who is home-schooled through iLEAD Charter and Classical Conversati­ons.

Grace is a Classical Conversati­ons Memory Masters Award recipient, having received the bronze, silver and gold Presidenti­al Service Award for completing over 1,200 hours of community service.

Grace aspires to go to college at Penn State and become a pediatric neurosurge­on.

Monica Grace Hall, 14, the daughter of Sean and Carline Hall, of Lancaster, was crowned Junior Miss Lancaster on May 29 at Real Life Church Lancaster.

She’s a sophomore at iLEAD Hybrid and participat­es in voice and piano lessons at Mel Booker music. She has also been training in traditiona­l Japanese Jujutsu for four years at the Hidden Dojo, holding the rank of a thirdrank blue belt.

Monica is planning on becoming a robotics engineer, having discovered her passion for all things robotics when she started taking animation and robotics classes at the age of eight.

Natania Asapokhai, 15, the daughter of Emem Asapokhai and Daniel Asapokhai, of Lancaster, was crowned Teen Miss Lancaster on May 29.

She is a junior at SOAR High School and is active in SOAR High School’s Black Student Union and AV Dance Studio 81’s Competitio­n Team.

Her future plans include attending a four-year university (hopefully UCLA), going on to law school after graduation and practicing as a lawyer.

Vanessa Denise Hall, 19, the daughter of Sean and Carline Hall, of Lancaster, was crowned Miss Lancaster on May 29 at Real Life Church Lancaster.

She is a junior at Antelope Valley College and is an avid sports lover and has played various sports, ranging from competitiv­e swimming to traditiona­l Japanese Jujutsu.

Vanessa recently completed all of her nursing-school entry biology prerequisi­tes, due to having started college in high school, and is in the process of completing the nursing-school entry exam, the TEAS, and is ambitious to pursue a degree in biology, with an emphasis on anatomy.
