Palmdale royalty crowned

Jaylee Vogel, 16, the daughter of Jennifer and Timothy Vogel of Palmdale, was crowned Miss Palmdale, on April 24, at Esperanza Elementary School.

She will be a senior at Paraclete High School, in the fall.

Jaylee Vogel is involved in the Drama Club, Key Club, yearbook and community choir.

Her future plans include studying English or creative writing in college.

Jennifer Beatty, 10, the daughter of Victoria and the late Brendon Beatty of Palmdale, was crowned Young Miss Palmdale, on April 24, at Esperanza Elementary School.

She will be a fifth-grader at Palmdale Learning Plaza, in August.

Jennifer Beatty is involved in the American Sign Language club and enjoys surfing, bike riding, roller skating and playing piano.

Her future plans include becoming a travel nurse, as her passion is to help others.

Emma Bell Madrigal, 13, the daughter of Omar and Maribell Madrigal of Palmdale, was crowned Junior Miss Palmdale, on April 24, at Esperanza Elementary School.

She will be an eighth-grader at PUC Nueva Esperanza, in the fall.

She is involved in Folklorico Quetzal de San Fernando and a summer enrichment program (cross country and arts). She enjoys painting, reading and gardening.

Her future plans include becoming a business owner. She wants to open a shop that will have a bakery and will sell tea, coffee, books, crystals and will have a little section for small businesses to sell their products.

Alyssa Figueroa, six, the daughter of Manuel and Jennifer Figueroa of Palmdale, was crowned Little Miss Palmdale, on April 24, at Esperanza Elementary School.

She will be a first-grader at Dos Caminos, in the fall.

Alyssa Figueroa enjoys Hip-Hop dance at Dance Magic Studios, swimming, singing, playing roblox with her cousins and drawing.

Her future plans include becoming a police officer.
