BROWN, Grayce Maude (Streeter) March 19, 1919 - July 7, 2022

103, of Greenwood, Ark. passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022 in Fort Smith, Ark. Grayce was born on March 19, 1919 in Gouverneur, N.Y. to

Otis and Glennie Streeter. Raised in a farming community, she

married her husband Donald Brown, in their hometown in 1940.

After having three children, the family left New York in 1952 for a drier climate in Southern California. They settled in Palmdale and the family made the Antelope Valley their home for 45-plus years.

Grayce was a member of the Palmdale United Methodist Church and loved to play the piano, as she was a natural pianist. Grayce worked as a

realtor for 10 years, then retired and traveled the country and Canada with her husband in their RV. She continued to play the piano and organ at hospitals, community and social events and also at campgrounds after retirement.

After the passing of her husband Don in 1997, Grayce continued to be active in the church through her love of music and photography. She relocated to Greenwood, Ark. to be near her only daughter in 2002. In Greenwood, she joined the Greenwood United Methodist Church and enjoyed living out the rest of her long life.

Grayce passed away at the Fort Smith Methodist Village surrounded by members of her beloved family. Grayce will always be remembered as a sweet-natured and kind person, photo-taking lover, naturally talented pianist and loving mom, grandma and G.G. to her family.

She is survived by her daughter Judy, son-in-law Tommy, son Bill, daughter-in-law Sharon, grandchildren Darren, Daneen, Michael, David, Kelly, Kenny, Tamara, Dan and Kamee, 20 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
