-

Sasuke is a 5-year-old, male, black Siberian husky that came in the Palmdale Animal Care Center as an owner surrender due to escaping from the home. Sasuke is a friendly dog that enjoys being pet. During his playgroup, he greeted the runner at the gate with soft eyes and a wiggly body and was excitedly whining. The runner opened the gate and he attempted to door dash. Sasuke exited the kennel and walked in all direction of the runner with a moderate pull. When he arrived at the catch pen, he began to whine toward the other dogs in the yard. As the runner leaned down and attempted to place a collar on him, he turned and became mouthy with the runner’s hands, applying light pressure. When he entered the yard, he approached a female shepherd. Sasuke play bowed at her feet, and she returned the bow with one of her own. As they engaged in play for a few moments, Sasuke approached a male shepherd. He became tense and stiff as the male walked beside him. A handler walked over and used a squirt bottle. Sasuke respected the correction and backed away. He approached the fence and became tense as a male pit bull was getting ready to enter the yard. When the pit bull approached him, he postured beside him. As the pit bull became stiff, Sasuke walked over his side and neck-pressed him while growling loudly. A handler halted his advance by holding on to his leash. He was then taken from the yard and placed in the catch pen. Sasuke remained focused and was whining while standing in the catch pen. He remained selective while in the yard. He preferred the company of females. Sasuke is available for a home with calm female dogs and has medium energy. To meet Sasuke, visit the center during its public hours of 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
