Trump not too old; he’s a dolt
Curt Redecker: “In response to a media question about her being ready to step in for President (Joe) Biden should the need arise, Kamala Harris said she’s ready to be a leader. That was the day’s joke, considering her past performance and speeches that meander and make little if any sense.”
I don’t support any bourgeois politician. But, interestingly, Republicans ignore Donald Trump’s many meandering and nonsensical statements. Trump: “But you can’t make a left anymore and come into the US loaded with human traffic,” or, “They say the noise [from wind turbines] causes cancer.” He’s not too old. He’s a dolt.
It’s also interesting that, although Kamala Harris is a reactionary’s reactionary, Republicans allow her pigmentation to deceive them into believing she doesn’t share their values.
For example, although most activists support healthcare-based approaches to drug abuse, Harris backed the criminalization of cannabis until 2015. As attorney general, she oversaw approximately 2,000 felony and misdemeanor convictions for cannabis use, cultivation and sales some 20 years after Proposition 215.
Kamala Harris’s assertion that she was a “progressive prosecutor” belies her having been averse to investigations of cop-involved shootings. She opposed efforts to abolish capital punishment. And she fought to sustain groundless convictions gained via official misconduct encompassing testilying by cops, evidence tampering, witness tampering, and prosecutorial suppression of information.
As San Francisco’s district attorney, Harris supported the practice of cops arresting “truant parents” who are mostly racialized and struggling people.
In 2013, Harris mocked protesters demanding fewer jails and more schools. Kamala Harris: “There’s a fundamental problem with that approach. I agree conceptually, but you haven’t addressed why I have three padlocks on my front door.”
Concerning immigration, Harris told Guatemalan migrants, “Don’t come,” despite the desperation experienced by Central American refugees being the fault of the capitalist system she defends. How could that not appeal to Republicans?
Indeed, no person of color will ever be permitted to rise to prominence within either the Republican or Democratic factions of the “Capitalist Party” without being supportive of the capitalist system. As such, and despite her meaningless pigmentation, Kamala Harris is a friend of the Right.
Finally, after writing “We’ve become the Ununited States of America,” James Chandler wrote, “How blind are we when we can’t figure out what sex we are?”
Everyone knows what sex they are. The fact that religiosity-filled bigots refuse to acknowledge that fuels the divisiveness James Chandler complains of.
