The Antelope Valley Press is running a weekly feature in which the interests, likes, dislikes and opinions of elementary students in a different Antelope Valley classroom are spotlighte­d. This week features Golden Poppy Elementary School kindergart­en teacher Norma Fernandez’s class in the Palmdale School District. Liam Landa, 6

What is your biggest dream or goal in life?

I want to be a policeman when I grow up, so that I can drive in a police car and help people.

What is a big world problem that you would like to change?

I want to help put the bad people in jail, so that good people can be safe.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?

I would want to live in a big house in Palmdale because Palmdale has a lot of things.

What would you serve if you made the lunch menu at school?

I would serve hash browns with ketchup!

What would you do with one million dollars?

I would buy lots of food!

Samuel Almanza, 6

What is your biggest dream or goal in life?

I want to earn a million dollars!

What is a big world problem that you would like to change?

I want to change the time from going slow. I want the time to go by faster.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?

I want to live in California, because I like California! Disneyland is in California!

What would you serve if you made the lunch menu at school?

I would like to serve orange chicken because it’s so good!

What would you do with one million dollars?

I would spend it on everything in the whole world!

Isabella Armata, 5

What is your biggest dream or goal in life?

I want to be a cop because I love cops!

What is a big world problem that you would like to change?

I wish all of the poor people had food and clothes.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?

I want to live in a cool house in LA with a pool!

What would you serve if you made the lunch menu at school?

I would serve chicken fries!

What would you do with one million dollars?

I would buy everything for my family.

Ivan Gonzalez, 5

What is your biggest dream or goal in life?

I want to be a principal.

What is a big world problem that you would like to change?

I want to build houses for poor people.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?

I want to live in the same house that I live in now because I love it a lot.

What would you serve if you made the lunch menu at school?

I would serve chicken because it’s so good!

What would you do with one million dollars?

I would buy some food and some soup.

Aaliyah Chan, 5

What is your biggest dream or goal in life?

I want to go see Ariel and the other princesses at Disneyland.

What is a big world problem that you would like to change?

I don’t want people to fight.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?

I want to live at the beach because it has water.

What would you serve if you made the lunch menu at school?

I want to give everyone pizza because it’s my favorite and I love pepperoni.

What would you do with one million dollars?

I would buy a bunch of toys for me and my sister.

Alayah Peralta, 5

What is your biggest dream or goal in life?

I want to be a doctor because I’ll help people feel better.

What is a big world problem that you would like to change?

I want to save the old people, the little kids and the mommies that don’t have any money.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?

I want to live in my house because the beds and couches are comfy.

What would you serve if you made the lunch menu at school?

I would serve carrots, broccoli and pizza. That’s it!

What would you do with one million dollars?

I would buy lots of toys because I like to play with them and I’ll have fun.

Aaliyah Maldonado, 5

What is your biggest dream or goal in life?

I want to be a teacher because I’ll get to teach kids how to write.

What is a big world problem that you would like to change?

I don’t like people fighting. It’s bad.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?

I would live in Palmdale because there’s lots of grocery stores where I can buy healthy food to help me grow.

What would you serve if you made the lunch menu at school?

I would serve pizza because it’s yummy!

What would you do with one million dollars?

I would buy my family toys and my parents new phones and new watches and picture frames.

Jamie Castro, 6

What is your biggest dream or goal in life?

I want to be a famous rockstar so that I can play lots of music

What is a big world problem that you would like to change?

I want everyone to say nice words to everyone so that nobody is mean.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?

I would live in Hawaii! It’s so much fun and I love swimming in the water.

What would you serve if you made the lunch menu at school?

I would serve pepperoni pizza!

What would you do with one million dollars?

I would buy a Lamborghin­i because you get to have two seats and you get to listen to cool music when you drive.

Nyomi Benavidez, 5

What is your biggest dream or goal in life?

I want to be a famous soccer player.

What is a big world problem that you would like to change?

I want to change the rules for driving, so people don’t crash. I don’t like it when people crash their cars.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?

I would want to live in a palace and feel like a princess. My family and I want to live in a big house one day.

What would you serve if you made the lunch menu at school?

I would serve healthy food like onions, apples, milk, and lots of fruit.

What would you do with one million dollars?

I would save it for when I grow up so that I can give it to my kids.

Ryan Decker, 5

What is your biggest dream or goal in life?

I want to have an important job so that I get a million dollars.

What is a big world problem that you would like to change?

I want everyone to love each other no matter what they look like.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?

I want to live in a big cool house that has lots of flowers around it.

What would you serve if you made the lunch menu at school?

I want to serve pancakes because they taste good and everyone loves pancakes.

What would you do with one million dollars?

I will buy decoration­s for my house.

Sage Morales, 6

What is your biggest dream or goal in life?

I want to be a dentist because you get free money and you get to help people. That’s fun. Yeah, that’s my dream!

What is a big world problem that you would like to change?

I want to plant trees all around the world because it gives us apples and we get energy from the apples to play.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?

I would live in Africa because there’s lots of countries and people in Africa.

What would you serve if you made the lunch menu at school?

I would serve healthy things like lemonade, apple juice, bread, oranges, apples, bananas and kiwis.

What would you do with one million dollars?

I would get a lot of things to feed the old people in the world. My grandpa is old and I want to take care of him and I want to make him proud.

Andres Garcia, 6

What is your biggest dream or goal in life?

I want to work in a Catholic Church and give out pieces of God.

What is a big world problem that you would like to change?

I want to stop all of the fighting because I don’t like it. It’s bad.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?

I would live in Montana because my mom really wants to go to Montana. There’s lots of mountains over there.

What would you serve if you made the lunch menu at school?

I would serve cupcakes for dessert because when it’s someone’s birthday everyone will get a cupcake.

What would you do with one million dollars?

I would buy a million jello! They’re so yummy!

Noah Avina, 5

What is your biggest dream or goal in life?

I want to work in a Catholic Church and give out pieces of God. I want to be like Martin Luther King. I want to stop people from being mean to other people.

What is a big world problem that you would like to change?

I want to stop people from being mean to other people. It isn’t nice.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?

I want to live in a tower in America!

What would you serve if you made the lunch menu at school?

I would serve chicken nuggets and French fries.

Sienna Meza, 5

What is your biggest dream or goal in life?

I want to be a nurse so that I can help people.

What is a big world problem that you would like to change?

I want everyone to be kind. Everyone in our classroom is nice. I want it like that.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?

I would live in Disneyland because I’ll get to use the rides everyday and eat all of the good food.

I would serve pizza because it’s good.

I would get watermelon­s and cereal.

I want to be a doctor that helps people who get hurt.

I want all of the bad people in jail.

I want to live in Disneyland

because I get to see Mickey Mouse and Elsa.

I want to give everyone syrup with waffles.

I would buy a Ferrari because I can drive fast in it.

What is your biggest dream or goal in life?

I want to go to the zoo with all of the animals.

What is a big world problem that you would like to change?

I want to see all of the animals happy.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?

I want to live where the bunnies and horses are.

I want to serve “carne en su jugo.”

I want to buy lots of food at the store. I like to buy things to make posole.

I want to be a famous singer.

I want to take all of the bad people to jail with the police.

I want to live in Mexico where my mother is from.

I would help the people who don’t have any money.

What is your biggest dream or goal in life?

I want to be a princess.

I want to fix the world.

I want to live in Palmdale because of the trees that they have here.

I want to be a teacher because people get to listen to me.

I want to help the good people.

I want to serve chicken, hamburgers, and snacks.

What would you do with one million dollars?

I would buy a toy for my teacher and I’ll buy Yo Gabba Gabba toys for me. I like Plex and Muno a lot!

I would buy lots of toys for me and my family.
