Nuptial vows were exchanged by Sarah Elizabeth Butler and Blake Daniel Lewis at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, in the Ashley Alexander House in Scott. The Rev. Wyman Richardson of Central Baptist Church in North Little Rock officiated.

Parents of the bride are Terri and Paul Butler of North Little Rock. Her grandparen­ts are Hilda and Kenneth Gathright and Sada and the late Vernon Butler, all of North Little Rock.

The groom is the son of LaDonna Broussard and Danny Lewis, both of Sherwood. His grandparen­ts are Della Rhea and Johnny Holley of Sherwood and Rose and Charles Lewis of North Little Rock.

The outdoor ceremony took place under an arch covered in grapevine and decorated with coral dahlias, orange ranunculus, purple lisianthiu­s and lavender stock with pumpkins at the base. Music was by guitarist and vocalist Cliff Hutchison and Affrettand­o, a string quartet.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white strapless mermaid-style gown tied at the waist with a sash embellishe­d with Swarovski crystals. She carried a clutch bouquet of orange roses, apricot dahlias, orange calla lilies and coral freesia.

Maid of honor was Sarah Ann Bost of Little Rock. Bridesmaid­s were Rachael Fleming of Duluth, Minn.; Jillian Whisnant of Little Rock; and Lauren Bosch of Fayettevil­le. They wore purple chiffon cocktail dresses with ruched sweetheart bodices and carried smaller versions of the bridal bouquet.

Flower girl and ring bearer were Emma Mosley of North Little Rock and Adam Collins of Benton, cousins of the groom.

Matthew Harris of Sherwood served as his cousin’s best man. Groomsmen were Darren Murray of Fayettevil­le; Dylan Henry of North Little Rock; and Jeffrey Milholland of Sherwood. Clint White of North Little Rock, Dustin Milholland of Sherwood and Stephen McGowan of Fayettevil­le seated the guests.

A reception at the home followed the ceremony. Guest tables on the lawn were decorated with a mixture of pumpkins, flowers, candles, gourds, berries and magnolia leaves.

The bride attended the University of Arkansas at Fayettevil­le, where she was a member of Kappa Delta. She graduated in May with a doctorate of pharmacy from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and is employed as a community pharmacy resident at UAMS and Kroger Pharmacy.

The groom graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from UA and is a thirdyear law student at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Bowen School of Law.

The couple will live in North Little Rock after a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
