KATHRYN CHRISTINE SQUIRES JEFFREY BENJAMIN STAMBOUGH
Dr. Kathryn Christine Squires and Dr. Jeffrey Benjamin Stambough exchanged wedding vows at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at Marlsgate Plantation. Mark Squires, uncle of the bride, officiated.
Christine and Burton Squires, 11 Edswood Court, are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Rosalyn and the late Dante Jacuzzi and the late Vivian and Calvin Squires, all of Little Rock.
Parents of the groom are Nancy and Dr. Jeffrey Stambough of Cincinnati. He is the grandson of Nancy and John Eakin of Beaver Falls, Pa., and Alice Stambough and the late Benjamin Stambough, both of Williamson, W.Va.
Vows were exchanged on the home’s veranda. Music was by the Jarboe String Quartet.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a fit-and-flare gown of antique-colored Lyon lace over silk organza. She carried a bouquet of garden roses.
The bride’s honor attendants were Erin Squires of Little Rock, sister of the bride, and Jordan Jacuzzi of New York, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Grace Squires of Little Rock; Megan Stambough of Syracuse, N.Y., sister of the groom; Jane Alyce Hunt and Janine Spain, both of St. Louis; and Meredith Morgan of Nashville, Tenn. They wore navy georgette strapless dresses and carried bouquets of Tropicana roses, wax flower and green hydrangeas.
Best man was Eric Hoffman of Austin, Texas. Groomsmen were Dr. Sam Borofsky of Washington; Andy Nichols of Louisville, Ky.; Fred Castellucci III of Atlanta; Trevor White of Los Angeles; Michael Squires of Little Rock, brother of the bride; and Dr. Feliks Kogan of San Francisco.
Ethan Squires of Little Rock, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.
A seated dinner under a tent on the west lawn of Marlsgate followed the ceremony. Guest tables held silver Revere bowls filled with green Fuji chrysanthemums, coral and blush roses, green hydrangeas and rose hips. Music was by Almost Famous from Memphis.
The bride graduated summa cum laude from St. Louis University with bachelor’s degrees in biology and psychology. She served as president of Alpha Delta Pi and currently is chapter adviser. She received a medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis with highest honors and as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha. She is completing her obstetric and gynecology residency at Barnes Jewish Hospital/Washington University in St. Louis.
The groom graduated with distinction from Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y., with a bachelor’s degree in biology and society. He was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Sigma Pi. He received a medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia and is completing his orthopedic surgery residency at Barnes Jewish Hospital/ Washington University in St. Louis.
The couple will live in St. Louis and take a wedding trip at a later date.
