Friendly staff helps Conway with medical rentals

Conway residents don’t have to leave town to rent and purchase necessary medical supplies. Apex Medical Rentals, Inc., a division of Conway’s locally owned Baker Drug, has been helping to provide the area with medical equipment since the company’s founding in 1983.

Apex Medical Rentals was created to complement the already established Baker Drug in downtown Conway.

The staff at Apex Medical Rentals has more than 50 years of combined experience and is dedicated to making sure customers’ needs are met, said Brent Hendrickson, store manager.

“We have a large selection of retail items and the ability to order many others at a great price,” he said. “We have a wealth of knowledge that allows us to assist in selecting the proper equipment for our customers and to help them navigate the health care system.”

Apex Medical Rentals provides a wide array of medical equipment and supplies, including hospital beds and accessories, mastectomy prostheses and bras, urological supplies, nebulizers, bathroom safety equipment, diabetic testing supplies and insulin syringes, and personal care equipment.

Apex Medical Rentals offers a variety of ostomy and urological products in Conway, Hendrickson said. Many products available are made by trusted brands such as Convatec, Hollister, Bard, Smith and Nephew.

The store also provides free local delivery of equipment and supplies.

Apex Medical Rentals, Inc. is certified by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care and accepts Medicare, Medicaid and most third-party insurances.

The store is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
