baseball A TALENT I COVET: I wish I could paint. A SMELL THAT MAKES ME NOSTALGIC: Any time I smell cheese I think of the cheese factory in Ozark, Mo.

MY RECURRING DREAM: I’m enrolled in a class that I’ve forgotten, and now it’s finals.

I WISH I KNEW MORE ABOUT medicine, diseases we haven’t found a cure for, mental [illnesses] as well.

MY FAVORITE VACATION is with family on the Gulf at Old Florida Beach.

IF I HAD A TIME MACHINE, I’d like to be able to go back and visit Jesus, Martin Luther, John Calvin … just visit with those people.

MY FIRST JOB was sweeping out my dad’s floor at the dry cleaners.

MY WORST JOB: I worked in a grocery store, and I got promoted from bagging. They put me behind a meat counter, and they gave me a chicken. When I finished [carving it] no one could recognize what … I didn’t need to be a butcher.
