Stacia Michele Shivley and Zachary Wayne Harmon exchanged marriage vows at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at Little Rock Firefighters Union Hall. Bart Baker officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Melissa Douglas of Maumelle and John Shivley of Alexander. Her grandparents are Jennifer Colvin and Joe Mills, both of Berryville, and Lorna and Jim Shivley of Bandon, Ore.
Parents of the groom are Chris Harmon of Perryville and Kim Ransome of Bigelow. His grandparents are Jody Poage of Yukon, Okla., and Calvina Harmon and Percy Ogden, both of Perryville.
Clear vases holding blue and coral flowers and floating candles lined the aisle.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a knee-length dress with a sequined bodice with rhinestones at the waist and a skirt embellished with white feathers. She carried a silk bouquet of pink roses, coral orchids and peacock feathers.
Kate Douglas of Maumelle served as her sister’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lauren Alkire of Little Rock; Ashley Tallent of Conway; and Jessica Harmon of Perryville, sister of the groom. They wore navy dresses in the style of their choice and carried coral bouquets of silk flowers.
Emery Harmon of Conway, the couple’s daughter, was flower girl. Ring bearer was Lee Krantz of Conway.
Serving as best man was Brett Lowery of Little Rock. Groomsmen were Philip Krantz and Micah Kendrick, both of Conway; and James Short of Jacksonville. Guests were seated by Connor Douglas and Dylan Douglas, both of Maumelle and brothers of the bride.
A reception, also at Union Hall, followed the ceremony. Guest tables were centered with arrangements of wedding flowers in shades of coral. Music was by Boom Kinetic.
The bride attended the University of Central Arkansas in Conway and has a bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She is a respiratory therapist at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
The groom attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and graduated from the Arkansas Fire Training Academy. He is a certified emergency medical technician and a Little Rock firefighter.
The couple will live in Conway after a honeymoon in Costa Rica.
