I-430/I-40 lanes to close at night

Work on Interstates 40 and 430 in Pulaski County will require overnight lane closures next week, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.

Alternating eastbound and westbound inside lane closures will begin Monday and continue nightly through the morning of Jan. 31. The eastbound lane closures will last from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. The westbound lane closures will fall between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m.

A contractor will be installing a precast barrier wall and performing construction on the I-40/I-430 ramp bridge in North Little Rock.

The project will complete the widening of I-40 between Conway and North Little Rock to three lanes in each direction.
