Overpass repairs to shut I-40 lane

Routine bridge maintenance will require a lane closure on Interstate 40 on Monday and Tuesday in Lonoke County, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.

Crews repairing delaminated concrete on the soffit of the Arkansas 13 overpass in Carlisle will require closing the eastbound outside lane for 2 miles in the vicinity of the bridge from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days.

The width of the eastbound exit to Arkansas 13 also will be restricted, the department said.
