Unpleasant thoughts

-

Much is being said about racism. It provokes some unpleasant thoughts that need to be addressed.

Racial protests across our country have caused a lot of unrest about our safety and security. I am hoping there will be some laws and regulations that will help control the illegal immigrants. Those who come across our Southern border do not represent a lot of problems, except I think they are crowding our space of freedom and putting a great burden on the American taxpayer.

The great concern is those of Arab descent who come in on a jet with a padded billfold. They can get off the plane and immediately blend into Islamic cells. I think they are the ones who need to be restrained and deported.

Why are some young black people doing what they do? Consider their family perspective. A mother works long hours at minimum wage trying to pay the bills to keep these youngsters fed and clothed. She does not have a lot of time to devote to the kids. The irresponsible dad gets lost in the woodwork and the burden is left on the shoulder of the mom. Chances are the taxpayers are paying room and board for the dad while he is laying up in the correctional hotel watching TV and getting fat.

Our government needs to devise a plan for some roadwork with a ball and chain on their feet, shovel in hand. A guard on horseback with a rifle and a blacksnake whip would fix a lot of things.

First we need to send the ACLU out to play. EVERETT MASON
