Arkansas betters Missouri State

Three divers had personal bests in the 3-meter platform and the Arkansas women defeated Missouri State 191-96 at the Arkansas Natatorium on Friday in Fayettevil­le.

Freshman Nicole Gillis won the 3-meter platform with a personal best of 320.70. Junior Hannah Bortnick finished second in the 3-meter springboar­d with a 320.03, also a personal best and senior Meghan Clark had a personal best of 316.05. Junior Shelby Bartlett won the 1-meter platform with a personal best of 292.13.

Senior Nikki Daniels won the 100- and 200-yard breaststro­ke in 1 minute, 3.77 seconds and 2:19.24. Senior Liz Braun won the 200 backstroke in 2:03.04 and Susanna White won the 50 freestyle in 23.60 seconds.

Junior Anna Mayfield won the 100 backstroke in 55.38 seconds and the 500 freestyle in 4:53.18. Junior Maddie Monroe won the 200 freestyle (1:50.11) and the 100 freestyle (51.19).

Sophomore Aiden Lister won the 1,000 freestyle in 10:13.89 and freshman Jessie Garrison won the 200 butterfly in 2:04.91. Olivia Weekley won the 100 butterfly in 57.15 and Chelsea Tatlow won the 400 individual medley in 4:20.38.

The 200-medley relay team of Mayfield, Daniels, White and Monroe won in 1:43.11. The 400 freestyle team of Braun, Daniels, Julia Banach and White won in 3:38.59.
