UA men, women have four top-10 finishes

Arkansas had four top-10 finishes Friday night on the first night at the Rod McCavy Memorial at Nutter Field House in Lexington, Ky.

Eric Hawks finished eighth in the 200-meter dash in 21.64 seconds. Stanley Kebenei finished fourth in the 5,000-meter run in 13 minutes, 48.48 seconds. Mark Broughton finished sixth in the high jump by clearing 6 feet, 8 ¼ inches. and the distance medley relay team of Cale Wallace, Eric Janise, Ryan Thomas and Kemoy Campbell finished third in 9:39.49.

Arkansas women had four top-10 finishes. The distance medley relay team of Diane Robison, Sparkle McKnight, Chrishuna Williams and Dominique Scott won with a time of 11:02.80 and Sandi Morris won the pole vault, clearing 14-10 ¼, the sixth highest in collegiate indoor history. Tamara Myers finished third in the long jump at 20-7. Taliyah Brooks finished ninth in the high jump, clearing 5-0 ¾.
