With Easter on its way, local municipalities and churches are organizing Easter-egg hunts across the Three Rivers

Edition coverage area. An Easter-egg hunt in Jacksonville will be held March 28 at Excell Park, 1500 Ray Road. Children up to age 10 are welcome to participate in the hunt, which will offer about 2,000 eggs per age group. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for the festivities. In case of rain, all participants are asked to go to the Jacksonville Community Center.

There, children ages 3 to 12 can take a plunge into the center’s pool for the Underwater Easter-Egg Hunt. Egg contents will include prizes such as toys and Splash Zone passes.
