CHRISTINE McDANIEL FARRIS went to be with the Lord, May 21, 2015. She was born November 23, 1946, to Mae Treat McDaniel and Kress McDaniel. She was employed as manager of Child Nutrition at the Little Rock School District for 25 years.

She was preceded in death by her mother; father; stepfather, Harry Tilly; brother, Ross McDaniel; and a daughter, Tammy Whitson. Christine is survived by her husband, Kermit Gower Farris II of 52 years; son, Kermit Gower Farris III and wife Paula; grandson, Anthony Boyette II, granddaugh­ter, Racheal Farris; sister, Sally Tilly Treadwell; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 23, 2015, at The Church of Rock Creek, 11500 W. 36th Street, Little Rock, Ark. CHARLES LEWIS, 59, of Little Rock, Arkansas died May 18, 2015. He was born July 13, 1955, in El Dorado, Arkansas. DAVID LESLIE ROGERS, 64, of North Little Rock, Ark., passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 20, 2015. He was born in North Little Rock.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Rogers, and is survived by the love of his life of 31 years, Sandye Humphrey; mother, Anna Rogers; brothers, Larry R. Rogers of Little Rock & William D. Rogers of North Little Rock; and sister, Lisa C. Piazza of El Dorado Hills, Calif.

David was involved with Burns Park American Legion Baseball for many years and was an avid sports fan, with baseball being at the top of the list, both as a player in his youth and a coach. He will be greatly missed by his family & friends. May God love and protect our David for eternity.

JOHN KENNETH STUDER, age 78, of Sherwood, Arkansas, was called home by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, May 21, 2015. He was born on February 26, 1937, in Ottawa, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John K. and Berneda Studer, and his sister, Judy Shelton. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Doris Studer; their son, David Studer (Tashia) of Perryville; and their daughter, Kris Tackett (Mark) of Sherwood; grandchild­ren Mishka and Dylan Studer, each of Little Rock; Daniel Eubanks of Perryville; Corey Cassidy of Little Rock; Courtney Cassidy of Fayettevil­le; Jennifer Tackett and Brian Tackett (Ali), each of Hot Springs; great-grandchild Alice Tackett of Hot Springs; two nieces, Michelle Zehender and Vicky Inneger (Andy); and one nephew, Michael Zehender (Jeannie).

He graduated from Tiffin University School of Business and served in the United States Air force for 23 years. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfathe­r who enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and recreation­al shooting with his daughter and son-in-law. VOID D. THOMPSON, 90, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord Thursday, May 21, 2015. He was born December 4, 1924, in Searcy, Arkansas, to William Edwin and Myrtle Thompson.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Patricia M. Thompson; son, Michael J. Thompson (Elvira) of Little Rock; daughters, Donna-Sue Tate (Richard) of Little Rock and Paulette L. Meux (Larry) of North Little Rock; brother, James T. Thompson, of Scott; grandchild­ren, Jenifer D. Scratch (Harold) of Cabot, Damon J. Seigrist (Laura) of Scott, Michelle L. Freels (John) of North Little Rock and Chris M. Meux (Jennifer) of Sherwood; and great-grandchild­ren, Alex Scratch (Samantha), Elijah Seigrist, Daniel Seigrist and Gavin Meux. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Billy Craig Thompson and Shelby Edward Thompson and sister, Dessie Faye Powell.

Our family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to all the nurses, CNAs and staff of Valley Ranch Nursing and Rehabilita­tion for their loving care of our loved one. They became like family to us. Special thanks to Gentiva Hospice, who helped in the last days of his life.

LONOKE — Alton Tenison, age 72 of Lonoke went to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, May 21, 2015. He was born in Carlisle, Arkansas to the late Kelse and Margaret Perryman Tenison.

He married the love of his life Linda Lou Tipton on November 18, 1962 in Coy, Arkansas. Alton was a faithful member, Deacon and served as the Leader for the Senior Saints at New Testament Missionary Baptist Church in Lonoke, Arkansas. He loved spending time with his family especially his precious grandchild­ren, including the furry ones too, as well as camping and fishing. Music was Alton’s world. He spent many hours playing his guitar and hosting impromptu picking and grinning sessions with friends and family. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Lou Tenison of Lonoke; four children, Jeff Tenison of Sherwood, Mark (Melinda) Tenison of Jacksonvil­le, Beth (Nathan) Scales and Amy (Aaron) Scales all of Cabot; five grandchild­ren, April Berryman, Cassidy Tenison, Luke, Ethan and Emma Scales and a host of other family and friends.

McGEHEE — Sue Broyles, 78, of McGehee, Ark., died Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Pinewood Nursing Home in Crossett, Ark. She was born December 9, 1936 in Yell County to the late Clarence E. and Elsie French Cooper. Sue worked at DanTan Company for many years before retiring. She was a longtime member of South McGehee Baptist Church. She loved watching the Arkansas Razorbacks, fishing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchild­ren.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Broyles; brothers, Billy Cooper, Dan Cooper, and Jimmy Cooper; sisters, Missy Hendrix and Pam Cooper. Survivors include son, Brent Broyles and wife Kelli of Branson, Mo.; daughter, Melissa Langley and husband Herman of Fayettevil­le, Ark.; brothers, Don Cooper of Sheridan and Paul Cooper of London, Ark.; sisters, Diane Nichols of Crossett, Ark., and Earline Hunsucker of Star City, Ark..; grandchild­ren, Haley Terry, Colby Irons, Lane Irons and Mason Broyles; great-grandchild­ren, Maddy Terry and Gannon Terry.

PINE BLUFF — Robert Jay Adams, age 65, of Pine Bluff, died Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Mr. Adams was born April 4, 1950, in Peoria, Illinois, a son of the late Robert James and Julia Rountree Adams.

Mr. Adams was reared and received his education in Abington, Illinois, graduating from Abington High School in 1968. Upon graduation, he joined the United States Army and served twenty years, retiring as a Sergeant First Class. After returning home from active duty, he began working at the Pine Bluff Arsenal in the communicat­ions department, retiring after twenty one years of service.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and had been Pack Leader of Cub Scout Pack 42, and was the assistant troop leader of Boy Scout Troop 100. He was also the cookie drive manager of his daughter’s Girl Scout Troop 6.

He is survived by his wife, Ayn Freygang, whom he married September 30, 1977, in Georgia; a son, Sergeant Eli Adams of Sherwood; daughter, Hannah Adams of the United States Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland; brothers, Marty Adams of Florida and Gary Adams of Missouri; two sisters, Donna Stevenson (Jim) and Julie Castle of Illinois.

A Mass of Christian Burial will said Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church by Father Frank DuPreez assisted by Deacon Noel F. “Bud” Bryant. NESBIT, Miss. — Jeraldean Steakley Bragg (Jerri), 90, of Nesbit, Miss., formerly of West Memphis, Ark., was a member of First Assembly of God Church in West Memphis for 45 years and a Baptist Memorial Hospital retiree of 20 years.

She leaves two children, Dr. Jim Bragg and wife, Ann, of Arkadelphi­a, Ark., and Linda Britt of Nesbit, Miss.; six grandchild­ren, 11 great-grandchild­ren and two great-great-grandchild­ren, Mandy Brewer Armstrong and children Hunter and McKinzie of Hernando, Miss.; Tonya B. Upperman and children Garth and Dilon of Benton, Ark.; the late Traci Bragg of West Memphis, Ark.; Christy Lawrence and children Heath and his daughter, Reese, of Texarkana, Ark.; Hailey Barbera and son, Triston, of Baton Rouge, La.; Cindy Weiler and children Nic, Keller and Grant of Blue Springs, Mo.; Warren Johnson and children Jacob and Liam; a sister, June Gist of Creve Colur, Mo.; and many nieces and nephews.
