Kordsmeier Furniture Co., located in downtown Conway, was established more than 90 years ago. Owner Ray Kordsmeier said he always knew he would wind up in the family business, which was started by his grandfather in Morrilton in 1924. The business has been in downtown Conway since 1949 and at its present location since 1955. The experienced staff at Kordsmeier furniture values honesty and takes pride in customer service. These staff members are trained to help customers in shopping for furniture, appliances, bedding and accessories. “When a customer enters our store, he or she has a particular need or interest,” Kordsmeier said. “It is our goal to provide answers to all their questions and assist them with any need relating to our business.” Kordsmeier Furniture carries popular brands such as Sealy, Bassett, Maytag, England, Riverside, Largo and many more.
