Sherwood Tractor is a full-service agricultural-equipment dealer with locations in Rose Bud and Atkins, where recent renovations included the addition of a 4,000-square-foot shop. “We’ve got plenty of room for the parts we need and plenty of room to provide service on the equipment we sell,” said Bart Sherwood, owner. The company offers new tractors from TYM and Mahindra, the No. 1-selling tractor in the world, with versatile and rugged options for a variety of uses around the farm or job site. In addition to tractors, Sherwood Tractor offers hay equipment by Claas and carries lawn equipment from Bad Boy mowers. Built in Batesville, these mowers come in a range of options, from simple residential mowers to the Outlaw series mowers designed for the commercial market. Sherwood Tractor also carries lawn-care equipment from Stihl, and recently added Cub Cadet to its inventory featuring the only zero-turn riding mower with a steering wheel on the market. “We love the retail equipment business,” Sherwood said. “We love meeting the needs of the hobby farmer, as well as those who use our equipment to make their living.”
