TENNESSEE TECH 15, UALR 2
Tennessee Tech scored 10 runs in the final three innings to take the final game of a three- game nonconference series on Sunday at Gary Hogan Field in Little Rock.
The Golden Eagles ( 23- 19) won two of three games in the series.
Tennessee Tech, of the Ohio Valley Conference, led 2- 0 before scoring 3 in the fifth, 4 in the sixth and 6 in the seventh and the game ended because of a run rule.
Reed Willenborg held Tennessee Tech to 2 runs on 7 hits over 4 innings, but the Golden Eagles got to every other Trojans pitcher. Cole Townsend gave up 3 runs in 1 inning, Dylan Slayton gave up 4 runs without recording an out in the sixth inning, while Jacob Rateliff gave up 5 runs in 1 inning and Zach Ours allowed the final run.

Strohschein gave Tennessee Tech a lead with a two- run double to left in the first and his three- run home run in the six- run seventh gave it a 14- 1 lead. That came after Brown’s three- run home run in the sixth.
Ryan Scott went 2 for 4 with an RBI and a run scored, while Cameron Knight went 2 for 3 with an RBI for the Trojans ( 21- 20).
UALR ( 13- 8 Sun Belt Conference) returns to conference action this week with a three- game home series against Texas Arlington, starting Friday.
