GRACE ANNETTE DUMAS, 74, of Little Rock passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016, surrounded by family and friends. She was born May 18, 1942, in Martinvill­e, Arkansas, to the late Carroll and Nadean French.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, David R. Dumas; daughter, Deborah Carol Kocsis (Billy); sons, Quinn Alan Woolsey (Carla) and Gene Smith (Angie); grandchild­ren, Heath Kocsis (Audri), Melody Maxey (Chris), Sarah Emily Woolsey, David Andrew Woolsey, Hattie Smith, and Blake Smith; and six great-grandchild­ren.

–––––❖––––– DENNIS L. HANNIBAL, born February 26, 1938, and passed July 26, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father Edward Sidney Hannibal and his mother Ruth Duncan Hannibal. He was also preceded in death by his granddaugh­ter Krista Sue Hannibal and grandson Jeremy Lynn Hannibal.

He is survived by his wife Ida Hannibal; daughter, Denise Rivkees (John); sons, John Hannibal (Michelle), Jim Hannibal, Kelli and Chris Hannibal; as well as grandchild­ren, Matt Hannibal, Ben Hannibal, Daniel Rivkees, Daniel Hannibal and Michelle Hannibal. Also survived by a sister Judy (Gary) Okray and brother Kenneth (Meave) Hannibal.

Dennis was an avid bowler, bowling 61 years beginning in San Diego and ending in Little Rock because of illness in 2012; traveling and bowling in many states. He loved fishing, although we had to teach him to fish Arkansas style.

–––––❖––––– LEVA EVELYN HARDCASTLE, 95, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on July 26, 2016. Born in 1921 in Pickett County, Tennessee, to Benton and Lona Manis, she lived most of her life in central Arkansas where she worked and raised her family. She worked for 37 years at MM Cohn. She was an avid follower of golf and basketball on television and a diehard Razorback fan. But nothing compared to her highest calling and greatest passion, being a mother and grandmothe­r. She also loved the Lord and attended Living Truth Church until her health would no longer permit.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jim Hardcastle. Left to cherish her love is her son Jim (Tenia) Hardcastle of Oakland, Tenn., and daughters Susan (Doyle) Conley and Kathy (Ken) Thompson, both of Central Arkansas; grandchild­ren Brian Hardcastle, Kristy Hutchins, Lucas Martin, and Todd Conley; six great-grandchild­ren, and anyone that was fortunate enough to call her friend.

–––––❖––––– LUCILLE METRAILER KELLY died at home on July 26, 2016, 15 days after a large celebratio­n of her 95th birthday. She was the ninth of 11 children born to Anthony and Henrietta Metrailer. She is preceded in death by nine siblings, her husband of 61 years, William T. Kelly; son William T. Kelly, Jr.; and daughters, Carolyn Kelly, Kathleen Klein and her son-inlaw, Bernie Klein. She is survived by her sister, Rose Hudgens, her husband, Dr. John Howard, her sister-in-law, Mary Lou Parrish and 11 children: Cornelia Beck (Barry), Paul Kelly (Nancy), Lucille DeGostin (Rob), Margaret Lovell (Marcus), Christine Frost, Marie Bennett (Chris), Frank Kelly (Jo), John Kelly (Gwendy), Joseph Kelly (Nancy Jane), Brian Kelly (Sabrina) and Michael Kelly (Terry). Very special people in her life include her friend and loyal caregiver, Patty Boyd Kelly, as well as 31 grandchild­ren, 31 great-grandchild­ren, and many nieces and nephews

Her strong faith, quick wit and deep appreciati­on of the support of others sustained her as she cared for her 14 children, devoted her life to her family and still found time to minister to others in need. She was a woman of beauty and grace with a warm smile and welcoming gaze. It was only later in life that she ever sat still. As a mother she was positive and supportive, set high expectatio­ns, listened well and took great joy in the unique personalit­ies, talents and special gifts of each child. She had the organizati­onal skills of a corporate executive, making efficient use of every opportunit­y to complete (or get others to complete) the activities of daily living in a large and very busy household. By her example and instructio­n, she taught her children to be self-sufficient and to care for and love one another. Her life was full, complete with travels across the globe and lasting memories that she cherished and spoke of until the day she died.

There will be a Rosary at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 29, at Little Rock Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father John Marconi on Saturday, July 30, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church, 1003 No. Tyler, Little Rock. –––––❖––––– Mrs. LYNNDA LEE LYNCH, 82, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016 after a brave and courageous battle with cancer. She died peacefully at home surrounded by her daughters and beloved cats. She loved doing for others, whether her family, friends or animals that she encountere­d throughout her life. She was a very patriotic person, with a great love for God and country.

Mrs. Lynch was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Lynch and a daughter, Andrea Lynch. She is survived by her daughters, Natalie Willis of Dalton, Georgia and Jennifer Cleveland of Memphis, Tenn.; grandson, Dustin Willis, also of Georgia; and many nieces and nephews

–––––❖––––– TERRI RHEA STEINMETZ, 60, of North Little Rock was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on September 30, 1955 to the late Cecil and Lillian “June” Steinmetz. On July 26, 2016 the word lost a brilliant, charitable, loyal and giving woman. She was devoted to her family; they were the reason for all that she did. She had many accomplish­ments in life but spending time with her family was her greatest passion and joy of all.

She is survived by her partner Kathy Boone and her children Hailey Scott (Chris Strawser) and Joseph Windom Scott all of North Little Rock. As well as her sister, Robyn Steinmetz (Lisa Bomar) and her brother Mike Steinmetz also of North Little Rock. She also leaves behind her grandchild­ren Brady Williams and Eli Strawser, and Aunts Betty Cathey and Wanda Windom. Other survivors include a host extended family and friends.

She was known by all for her kindness, thoughtful­ness and her gentle smile that will be missed by all. She had a passion for her work which took her all over the world. She also loved fast cars, watching football, Barbara Streisand and was a caregiver to animals, especially kitty cats. When she was younger she excelled in sports especially tennis and softball. She was of Methodist faith.

After graduating from the University of Central Arkansas with degrees in mathematic­s and computer sciences, Terri worked in profession­al positions before starting as a software developer with Systematic­s, a software and processing company for financial institutio­ns with headquarte­rs in Little Rock, Ark. As Systematic­s became ALLTEL Informatio­n Services and now FIS Global, Terri held various management positions with global responsibi­lities. Terri managed applicatio­n developmen­t and customer relationsh­ips through technical and generation­al changes in her 37+ years with the Company, including developmen­t of applicatio­ns using the forerunner of today’s online technologi­es. She was also one of the developers for the first applicatio­n software to drive Automated Teller Machines (ATMs).

She was the Company’s key account manager for what is now, JP Morgan Chase in New York, New York. As the Company grew and expanded, her responsibi­lities included global travel to China and other countries, serving customers in internatio­nal markets. She was currently serving as a Senior Technology Strategy Manager for FIS. Terri was a mentor and friend to countless employees and people. She was a hardworkin­g, honest, and fair manager who valued the customers with whom she worked.

A Celebratio­n of Life service will be held on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 2:00 in the Chapel of Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Rd. in North Little Rock. –––––❖––––– HARRISON SIMS WEST, 94, of Sherwood, passed away July 26, 2016. He was born to William and Susie West on August 29, 1921 in Aubrey, Arkansas. He was a WWII Navy veteran and served aboard the U.S.S. Chester. He was a dedicated member of local union 295 of the IBEW for 74 years and served as Business Manager and Internatio­nal Representa­tive for the organizati­on. He was a member of Sylvan Hills First Baptist Church for 57 years.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Peggy Neal West; his sister, Agnes Baker, and his brother, J.B. West. He is survived by his sister, Mabel West Caster; his four daughters; Linda West Henderson (Jim), Sandra West Kindrick (Mike), Tracy West Hammons (Dick), Ann West Walker (Bob). He was the adored PaPa of Kristin Adams, Westly Henderson, Amy Key, Clayton Kindrick, Austin Hammons, Elizabeth Hammons, Ashley Krieg, and John David Walker. He is the great-grandfathe­r of Harrison Hale Adams, Mia Catherine Key, Georgia Camille Key, Avery Rebecca Krieg, and Anna Cate Krieg.
