OAK GROVE, La. — Eddie Ray Purvis, 66, of Oak Grove, Louisiana died July 27, 2016. Memorial Services will be held at 11 a. m., Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Trinity Baptist Church in Oak Grove, La. CLARE, Mich. — Patrick Wright, 52, of Clare, Michigan, formerly of Newport, died Tuesday. Survivors: daughters, Christina Welch, and Kori Wright; his mother, Lillian Wright; three brothers, Orville Dale, Edsel, and Clyde Wright; and three grandchild­ren. Funeral: 3 p. m. C. — Dr. Frank Buddy McCutcheon Jr., 64, died Friday, July 15, 2016. Dr. McCutcheon was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Frank Noah McCutcheon and Bette Mae Bacchus McCutcheon.

Dr. McCutcheon was a practicing cosmetic surgeon for over 32 years. He attended medical school at the University of Arkansas and graduated in 1978 with completed residencie­s in Arkansas and at the Bowman- Gray School of Medicine in Winston Salem, N. C. He loved music and was a talented musician who played multiple instrument­s. He also was a Civil War and U.S. History buff. He loved his family, he loved life and he loved his patients, fellow colleagues and doctors and will be missed by all.

Surviving Dr. McCutcheon are wife Brenda; three brothers, John McCutcheon and his wife Jackie of Fayettevil­le, Clutch McCutcheon of Cabot and Marc McCutcheon of Fayettevil­le; a sister, Missy Milton and her husband Michael of Fayettevil­le; Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and great- nieces and nephews; two sisters- in- law, Amy Duncan and her husband Tim and their daughter, Agnes of Memphis, Tenn. and Julie Nelson of Memphis, Tenn.

Dr. McCutcheon was a gifted surgeon who volunteere­d his time helping with restoratio­ns for children and Veteran’s with war injuries. He was loved dearly by his brothers, sister and all of his family!
