FOOTBALL Bosworth to speak at LRTD Club College Football Hall of Fame linebacker Brian Bosworth will be the guest speaker at today’s Little Rock Touchdown Club meeting at the Embassy Suites hotel in Little Rock.

Bosworth won the Butkus Award as college football’s best linebacker in 1985 and 1986, the same seasons he was a consensus All-American at Oklahoma. Bosworth was a firstround draft pick of the Seattle Seahawks in 1987. He played three seasons with the team.

Lunch will be served at 11 a.m. and the program will begin at 11:50 a.m. Admission is $20 for members and $30 for non-members.

SOCCER Arkansas wins at home Arkansas fell down by one goal early, but rallied for a 2-1 victory over Ole Miss on Sunday in Oxford, Miss.

The No. 15 Razorbacks got a goal in the 22nd minute from Kayla McKeon to tie the match, then got the game winner on a header from Claire Kelley in the second half. It was McKeon’s seventh goal this season, and the second for Kelley.

Cameron Carter had four saves for the Razorbacks (11-1, 4-0 SEC). UCA women stay unbeaten in Southland Dayna Mounie’s goal in the 29th minute gave Central Arkansas an early lead in an eventual 4-1 victory at Lamar in Beaumont, Texas on Sunday.

Camille Bassett scored in the 48th minute, Ashley Smith scored in the 54th minute and Jordan Slim scored in the 70th minute for the Bears (8-3, 3-0).

VOLLEYBALL Razorbacks win SEC opener Behind a season-high hitting percentage, Arkansas opened its SEC schedule with a 25-21, 25-17, 25-14 sweep of LSU on Sunday in Baton Rouge. Danielle Harbin and Savannah Voelzke led Arkansas (3-10, 1-0) with 14 kills each, while setter Rachel Rippee had 38 assists.

UALR wins first Sun Belt match Marina Avram had 13 kills for UALR and the Trojans won at Appalachia­n State 25-13, 26-24, 25-15 for their first Sun Belt Conference victory of the season.

Carolee Dillard added seven kills and Taylor Lindberg had 28 assists for the Trojans (5-10, 1-1).
