Center strategy

-

The Razorbacks went back to Frank Ragnow at center against Texas A&M after playing Jake Raulerson and Zach Rogers at center in a 42-3 victory over Texas State last week.

Ragnow started the first two games at center.

“They went with multiple fronts and did different things up front that we just needed to make the right call and get to the right person and the right alignments and felt that Frank at center and Jake at guard [was the way to do it],” Bielema said.

Bielema also said Brian Wallace had a good week of practice and deserved a start at right tackle.

“We were going to give those ends a lot of business and a lot of our tackles on that end and a lot of help with running backs, tight ends, and wide receivers,” Bielema said. “And, again, just over four quarters, we didn’t do it enough.”

Texas A&M end Daeshon Hall beat Wallace with a move to sack Austin Allen and force a fumble in the fourth quarter that the Aggies recovered at the Arkansas 15 and turned into Christian Kirk’s 9-yard touchdown catch for a 38-17 lead.
