EMMA JEAN “JEANIE” BROCK, age 93, of Little Rock, died Oct. 23, 2016, in a local nursing home. Mrs. Brock was born Jan. 16, 1923, in Nashville, Ark. to A.T. and Pollie Turner. She was employed in children’s clothing sales and was a member of First Baptist Church Geyer Springs.

She is preceded in death by her husband Rev. William Leon Brock; her parents, and 8 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by two sons Tom (Tommye) Brock of Little Rock; Hank (Sonia) of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; grandchild­ren Jason Brock of Little Rock; Tara (Rob) Dennie of Little Rock; Shawn Brock of Newport News, Va.; and Kimberly Brock of Tucson, Ariz.; great grandchild­ren Reagan, Anderson, Graham, Campbell, Keaton and Whitman Dennie; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday Oct. 26, at Roller Chenal Funeral Home with Dr. Paul Sanders officiatin­g. Burial will be at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Alexander, Ark.

Visitation will be from 12-1 p.m. on Wednesday at Roller Chenal Funeral Home 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock.

–––––❖––––– ELLEN DIANNE LANGLEY of Little Rock passed away Saturday morning, Oct. 22, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Ellen Elledge Williams Bushe and the late V.W. Williams of Monroe, Ark. She was a compassion­ate school teacher, a talented cook and knitter, a diehard Democrat, a news junkie, an antique collector, a life long learner, and usually the smartest person in the room.

Her granddaugh­ters, Tapp and Wesley, brought her great joy in her retirement years and she loved them deeply. Dianne is survived by her son, Michael Langley of Little Rock; a daughter, Laura Langley, of Sarasota, Fla.; and a sister, Kathy Frein, of Brinkley, Ark. She was preceded in death by her brother, Vernon Williams, of Little Rock.

–––––❖––––– Mrs. MARJORIE McLEAN (OF-FENHOUSER), age 96, of Little Rock, passed away Thursday, Oct. 20, 2016.

She was a graduate of UALR and received her B.A. in economics in 1964. Mrs. McLean was a member of the Chi Omega sorority. She chaired many boards, including: Family Service Agency, St. Joseph Home for Children, Pulaski County Chapter of American Red Cross, Budget Committee of the United Fund, State of Arkansas Aeronautic­s Commission, Alumni Board U.A.L.R., Little Rock Public Library, Chancellor’s Circle U.A.L.R. Junior League of Little Rock, Rob Roy Plantation and the Arkansas Bankers Advisory Board. One of her great loves was tennis, having won the Arkansas Mixed Doubles Championsh­ip, as well as the Arkansas Bankers Mixed Doubles championsh­ip. She was also an accomplish­ed pilot, chef, tailor, and gardener.

She is preceded in death by her husband William Hugh McLean; her parents, Marjorie Lombard & Gilbert Trutt Offenhouse­r; and her sister, Olive Roff. Mrs. McLean is survived by her daughters, Peggy McLean Gross (Gary), Jean McLean Brookby, Barbara McClean Ford (Harry); 6 grandchild­ren; 11 great grand-children.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date. If desired, memorial contributi­ons may be made to Wil-liam H. McLean Scholarshi­p Fund at U.A.L.R.

––––– ––––– TERRI HAYES WINSTEAD, 52, of North Little Rock went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, Oct. 21, 2016. Terri grew up and attended school in Gurdon and went on to earn an Associates Degree from Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia. She was employed as an Underwrite­r at Med James, Inc. for over ten years. She loved to be outside camping, fishing and kayaking.

Terri is preceded in death by her father Louis M. Hayes, Jr. and nephew Robert Braden Pledger.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Don Winstead; son Dylan Dugger; daughter, Hana Dugger; mother, Theresa Hayes; sister, Tammi (Jon) Van Cleave; nephews, Cullen Pledger and Chase Pledger; her bonus grandchild­ren, Isabella and Logan Winstead; uncle Bill Caten of Mandeville, La.; aunt Saundra Bray of Plano, Texas; and brother-inlaw, David (Angie) Winstead. She will also be remembered as a second mother to many.

Buddy was the owner/operator of Buddy York Bail Bonds, Inc. He is survived by his daughters, Rosanne Little, Robin Abrantes, Susan O’Toole, Becky Bolding, Michelle York-Couch, Yolanda Moseley and Andrea Barker; son, Kenny Hill; grandchild­ren, James, Crystal, Christina, Brian, Jonathan, Nathan, Robbie, Payton, Donnie, Tionna, Cody, Hannah, Clayton and Nora Nell; and partner, Jimmie York.
