A Union Pacific Railroad crew works to power down the No. 844 steam locomotive upon its arrival at North Little Rock’s Downing B. Jenks Locomotive Repair Shop on Monday afternoon. No. 844 is the last steam locomotive built for Union Pacific Railroad, delivered in 1944. It will continue its journey across Arkansas today with stops in Conway at 9:30 a.m., Russellville at 11 a.m. and Van Buren at 2 p.m.
