Hendrix QB named player of the week

Hendrix College freshman quarterback Miles Thompson was named the Southern Athletic Association offensive player of the week.

Thompson, from Lucas, Texas, broke the school record with 455 yards passing in the Warriors’ 52-28 victory over Chicago on Saturday. Thompson completed 32 of 41 passes and had 3 touchdown passes in his first collegiate start.
