Still on the Hill, Belew plan Saturday concerts

- JACK W. HILL

Still on the Hill will bring a river tribute show to a Little Rock Folk Club show at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Hibernia Irish Tavern. Admission is free.

Based in Fayetteville, Still on the Hill — Kelly Mulhollan and Donna Sternja — will perform a 75-to-80-minute concert that focuses on their latest CD, Still a River: Story Songs of the Buffalo River. The first 100 attendees will receive a free CD at the end of the concert.

The duo, which has been voted “Best Folk Band” in Fayetteville for several years, has released eight CDs. In 2010, with the album, Ozark Project, the duo began to write and perform music about the local surroundings. In 2015, the twosome released Once a River, about the history of the Beaver Lake watershed and the White River. The follow-up, Still a River, was released last spring.
