Broadway Bridge work to close road

Work on the new Broadway Bridge over the Arkansas River between Little Rock and North Little Rock and its approaches will require a section of Riverfront Drive in North Little Rock to be closed Saturday, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.

Riverfront, also called Arkansas 100, will be closed in both directions between Karrott and Willow streets from midnight Friday until 10 p. m. Saturday.

Motorists using Riverfront can use both Karrott and Willow to access West Broadway to get around the closed section, the department said. Alternate routes for the Broadway Bridge replacement project can be found on the department’s travel and construction information website, www. idrivearkansas. com.
