A one-stop shop for all Razorback needs, the UA Bookstore includes textbooks, general books, a computer store and service center, office supplies, a Razorback shop, a Clinique cosmetic counter and the Bookstore Cafe. The store serves over 27,000 students and more than 3,500 faculty and staff on campus, plus alumni and the surrounding community.
The textbook department offers rental books that can save students up to 65 percent. The department also has new, used and digital books. It offers an Amazon Price Matching for all new textbooks and uses Verba Compare to help students find the best pricing available for textbooks. All of the bookstore’s proceeds go toward lowering the cost of textbooks and materials for students.
OVERVIEW SUSTAINABILITY
The University of Arkansas Bookstore recycles e-waste for the entire campus and strives to produce minimal waste. The bookstore is the campus recycling hub for cellphones, printer cartridges and batteries. The store’s retail bags are 100 percent recyclable and biodegradable.
