–––––❖––––– JEAN COOK of North Little Rock passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Cabot Health and Rehabilita­tion in Cabot. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Cook or T.S. Cook and her son, Bobby Cook.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Jean Moore; and a son, Ted Cook (named after his dad). Ted is married to the former Betty Connors and they have two children, Bret Cook and Lynsey Cook. Bret is married to Leslie Halford and they have two children, Nora Gracie and Carson Sanders Cook. Jean’s daughter is married to Bob Moore of Ward, Arkansas.

Jean worked most of her profession­al career as a Registered Nurse and was a school nurse for North Little Rock Schools and was retired for about 20 years. Jean was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church in North Little Rock. Her husband was a Deacon at the church and they raised their family with the church’s help.

Ted was retired from the United States Army Corps of Engineers, and Cook’s Landing at the foot of the Big Dam Bridge is named after him.
