Holton, Campbell warm club’s new flat

Campbell will return to central Arkansas to perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday for the Folk Club. Admission is $15, $10 for those with military IDs, $8 for students with IDs and free for children age 12 and under accompanie­d by an adult.

Campbell, who earned a master’s degree in history at Auburn University, released her debut album, Songs From

the Levee, in 1994. She has since released 17 more CDs, the latest of which, The K.O.A.

Tapes (Vol. 1), came out in 2016.

Her albums have featured guest artists including John Prine, Guy Clark, Rodney Crowell, Emmylou Harris and Nanci Griffith. Her songs have frequently focused on themes of civil rights and religion, especially in the South.
