Nothing beats a beefy burger from a local eatery, but Mustang Sally’s in Perryville has improved its menu and specials to offer much more than just a juicy patty on a delicately soft bun.

The restaurant offers new lunch plates and specials, as well as in-house smoked barbecue pulled-pork sandwiches, so customers can come in and fill their stomachs while relaxing in comfort in the homey atmosphere.

General manager Victoria Scallion said this fun, family-friendly restaurant is ever-changing in its efforts to satisfy customers. It is that customer satisfaction that is of the utmost importance.

“[ I want them to be] satisfied, honestly. I want them to be happy with everything from service to food to cleanliness,” she said. “They are the bosses, and I want them to be as happy as I can possibly make them, and we try to do that every day.”

Mustang Sally’ s has provided mouthwatering food for almost f ive years in historic downtown Perryville, and the pos it ive att itude of the restaurant’s owners and staff, such as Scallion, is what keeps the business booming and fresh.

“From washing dishes and talking with customers to after-hours paperwork and coming up with new ideas and recipes, it is all done for the love of the restaurant and its customers,” she said.

Scallion added that the small town of Perryville helps the restaurant create a comfortable atmosphere where nobody feels excluded.

She said she wants customers to know that they can “come here feeling like a stranger, but leave here feeling like family.”
