SWEETBERRY FROZEN YOGURT

Clean shop serves cold treats to the community

-

When the summer heat hits Arkansas, there’s nothing better than a cold treat to cool one down. Sweetberry Frozen Yogurt is a shop dedicated to serving up great flavors and some of the coldest treats in town. Owner Amber Johnson works hard to keep her customers happy. “We are the friendliest and cleanest yogurt shop, with a large variety of flavors and toppings,” she said. “We always put our customers first.”

Amber and her husband, Cody, purchased the business in December 2016. The shop offers 12 varieties of frozen yogurt and Italian-ice f lavors, cones and two cup sizes, and more than 60 toppings from which to choose. Amber said the most challenging aspect of the business is keeping the yogurt machines clean and sanitized, along with keeping track of the inventory.

Family is a big part of Sweetberry’s business, Amber said. She said family members help out in the store, along with one employee who is outside of the family. Amber added that she strives to be a good boss by setting a high standard for the business and by being willing to do hard work. “I’ll never ask an employee to do anything that I’m not willing to do,” she said. “I respect and listen to anything they need to tell me.”

Amber added that the Greenbrier community, in which Sweetberry Frozen Yogurt is located, helps the business excel.

“Our small-town community is very important to our business,” she said. “Their support means the world to us.”

Sweetberry Frozen Yogurt provides a superb place for community residents to get together for some deliciously cold treats while also being treated like family.
