THE MANOR SENIOR LIVING COMMUNITY
Staff provides exceptional living for extraordinary seniors
Central Arkansas seniors can come home to a caring, holistic environment at The Manor Senior Living Community in Benton. The Manor team works to provide the perfect amount of care for those who still love their independence, while maintaining residents’ daily care and safety.
“We see each resident as a part of our family, each extraordinary in their own way,” said Krisdee Sims, director of business development. “At the end of the day, we want each resident to feel loved and at home.”
As the newest assisted-living community in Saline County, the 75-apartment community allows seniors to experience all the wonders of life, yet feel safe knowing personalized care is right around the corner. The Manor also has a location near Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.
Residents can enjoy amenities such as concierge services, country-club-style dining, exercise classes, transportation, housekeeping, laundry, a private dining room, and an on-site barber and beauty salon. In addition, seniors can participate in community activities such as bingo, movies at The Manor theater, outings, concerts and more.
Team members assist residents with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, managing medications and keeping schedules. The Manor also offers in-house physical therapy, nutritional monitoring and a 24-hour nursing team, and emergency call pendants are provided for each resident’s peace of mind.
The Manor’s Memory Care Neighborhood is specially designed to provide a comfortable and secure environment for those in need of memory care. The Manor is trained to value each senior and to recognize their unique qualities and needs. Memory loss affects every resident differently, and The Manor’s Memory Care Neighborhood focuses firmly on the individual and on providing a safe and familiar, yet stimulating, environment.
Along with the enhanced memorycare program, various activities such as arts and crafts, pet therapy, Bible study, memory games and exercises are encouraged to promote social interaction that helps boost residents’ self-esteem and enjoyment of life.
The Memory Care Neighborhood also provides a secured courtyard that invites residents to safely enjoy the outdoors.
“We see each of our residents as awesome individuals, each unique in their own way,” Sims said. “Our team works diligently every day to give special, individualized care so that each of our residents feels safe, important and loved.”
