Mount Magazine Trail Fun Run

Mount Magazine has an address: 577 Lodge Drive, Paris. Or rather, that’s the address for Mount Magazine State Park.

This fun run will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday at Greenfield Pavilion, across the highway from the visitor center. Participants are asked to carpool and to arrive early enough to check in before the start.

The distance will be about 18 miles, using most of the park’s trails, but there will be bailout options.

Two aid stations will appear at 5.5 miles and 10.5 miles. Food will be provided after the run, but runners are welcome to take food and drinks to share.

There are no fees or frills, but runners can make a donation to help cover the cost of the food. For headcount purposes, email runninpt@ gmail.com, or visit runarkansas.com/MtMagazine.htm.
