Shirley and James Wesley Murberger of Malvern will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary. The couple were married June 21, 1952. She is the former Shirley Ruth Otts. He is retired from the Army.

Mary and Doyle J. Scroggins of Scotland celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary June 15 with a reception at Scotland Senior Center. The couple were married June 17, 1952. She is the former Mary Alileen Jones and retired from AM Corp. and Farm Bureau. He is retired owner of Amboy Barber Service and Scroggins Hereford Ranch. They are the parents of Sherry Tanner of Russellville and have one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

Linda and James Travis Calhoun of Arkadelphia will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a dual celebration of their anniversary and his 50 years in the ministry from 1 to 3 p.m. July 1 at the Family Life Center of Baring Cross Baptist Church. The couple were married June 30, 1967. She is the former Linda Carolyn Bolen and a retired florist. He is a Baptist minister and mayor of Arkadelphia. They are the parents of Jamie Calhoun of Noblesville, Ind., and Rebecca Freeman and Courtney Barras, both of Arkadelphia. They have seven grandchildren.
