College of the Ouachitas
Founded in 1969, College of the Ouachitas offers some of the region’s best professional and technical programs, such as allied health/nursing, business, cosmetology and criminal justice, as well as electrical and plumbing apprenticeships and mechatronics. COTO also offers high school alternatives through the college’s career center at the Malvern campus, including automotive, cosmetology, criminal justice and many more. The school’s general-education courses can launch students toward a high-quality bachelor’s degree as well.
GOOD TO KNOW: College of the Ouachitas is not only present with its main campus, but is active in the community with adult-education centers in Hot Spring, Grant and Clark counties, as well as the COTO center at Sheridan.
