HILDA “LOUISE” BALLARD-COX, 69, of Little Rock was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 18, 2017. –––––❖––––– RUTH ANN COLE, 84, of Little Rock, passed away June 21, 2017. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on September 6, 1932 to the late William Herbert Agee, Jr. and Mae Perry Agee.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Stephen Cole; children, Jim Spicer (Dianna Johnson), Kathy Root and Bill and Dee Spicer; sister-in-law, Linda Giger; grandchild­ren, Jim Root, Tracy Stumbo (Scott), Chris Spicer (Julie), Nick Spicer (Megan), Aaron Spicer and Kayla Spicer; and great-grandchild­ren, Grace Stumbo and Harrison Spicer.

–––––❖––––– REUBIN C. COMER JR., owner of Arkansas Air Conditioni­ng and Heating, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 22, 2017. He was 86 years of age.

Reubin was a Navy veteran who proudly served his country in the Korean War aboard the U.S.S.W. Seiverling. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and the TeleBible Class of Little Rock.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jerri Comer, and his children, Beverly Mikita (Joe), Steve Comer (Lynn), Jim Comer (Nona), Dr. Donna Bowman, Steve Bowman (Barbara) and Marsha Segalla. He is also survived by nine grandchild­ren whom he adored, Heather Anderson, Autumn Hallock, Lauryn Comer, Nick Comer, Melissa Vance, Katie Segalla, Alex Segalla, Virginia Ekenseair and John Ekenseair; four great-grandchild­ren; sister, Bettye Fritts (Bob); and sister-in-law, Barbara Comer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Reubin, Sr. and Mildred Comer; his brother, Eddie Comer; and son, Bobby Comer.

Services will be Monday, June 26 at 2 p.m., preceded by visitation beginning at 1 p.m., at Immanuel Baptist Church. –––––❖––––– JAMES DANIEL COWGILL, 47, of Jacksonvil­le went to be with his Lord and Savior, suddenly, on Wednesday, May 31, 2017. He was born November 13, 1969, in Flint, Michigan to James and Jo Ann Cowgill.

Dan was preceded in death by his father, James L. Cowgill and his former wife, Michelle Cowgill. He is survived by his mother, Jo Ann Cowgill; sister, Rebecca Cowgill; and his son, James, all of Jacksonvil­le; and his closest uncle, Paul Jeffrey Rice of North Little Rock. He is loved and missed by his family and many friends.

Dan never knew a stranger. A resident of Arkansas for nearly 30 years, he was known by many for his kindness, his sense of humor, and his willingnes­s to help others. His son, James, was his best friend. Dan enjoyed reading his Bible, music, fishing and working on vehicles. He spent some of his happiest hours helping others with their vehicles.

His hobbies were bowling, fishing, and spending time with his daughter. He is survived by his daughter, Kristen Hynum; brothers, Leonard Hynum (Anita) and Earl Hynum (Melissa); and other extended family. –––––❖––––– BETTY LOU (DIPASQUALE) KELLY, 79, of Sherwood passed from this life on June 18, 2017. She was born February 9, 1938 in Enid, Oklahoma to Basil Kelly and Bess Hatchet Kelly. Ms. Kelly loved reading and was a former member of St. Jude Catholic Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include children Cindy Lynn of Sherwood, Mark Worden and life partner Cinda Stenger of Washington, Anthony Kelly Worden of Wisconsin; brothers Bill Hibbs and wife Bobbie of Jacksonvil­le and Lee Hibbs and wife Eugina of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Other survivors include grandchild­ren, Dominique Worden, Emily Worden; and step-grandchild­ren, Jackie Lynn, Justin Lynn, Sarah, Abigail, Jordan and Elijah along with a host of extended family and friends.
