NAOMI ESTRADA, 36, of Little Rock went home to be with the Lord on July 2,

2017. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend to those that she left behind.

Naomi is survived by her parents, J. and

J. Estrada, one daughter, one son, one grandson, two brothers, and one sister and a host of extended family and friends.

–––––❖––––– JULIA M. FIELDING, 88, of Jacksonvil­le died Thursday, July 6, 2017. She was born April 7, 1929, in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Issac and Betty Klein. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her great-grandchild­ren James and Owen Polacek.

Mrs. Fielding was a loving wife and eternal friend to her late husband, James W. Fielding, a wonderful mother, grandmothe­r and great grandmothe­r. Mrs. Fielding is survived by her sons, Robert Fielding and his wife Sharon of Jacksonvil­le and Kenneth Fielding and his wife Susan of Conway Arkansas; her grandchild­ren, Laura Springer and her husband Stuart of Benton, Linda Fielding of Little Rock, Katherine Fielding of Alexandria, Virginia, and Kristen Polacek and her husband David of Conway; her great grandchild­ren, Jude, Micah and Chloe Springer and Caroline and Amelia Polacek and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 9, 2017, in the chapel of Moore’s Jacksonvil­le Funeral Home with Reverend Robert Fielding officiatin­g. Visitation will be 15 minutes prior to the service. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.

–––––❖––––– J. NORMAN MEYER of Mabelvale, Arkansas, went to be with his Lord on July 6, 2017. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church of Bauxite. He retired from Arkansas Democrat Gazette after 40 plus years. Norman loved to tell stories, and his pastor even numbered them!

He is survived by his loving wife, Julia, of 70 years; three sons, Dennis (Janeen) of Lonoke, Daryl (Jan) of Mabelvale, and Doyle (Debbie) of Yellville; five grandchild­ren; three great-grandchild­ren; brotherin-law and sister-in-law, Sonny and Peggy Hooker; and a host of nieces and nephews. Norman was a much-loved man.

The memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 8, 2017, at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, (501) 455-5800, officiated by his pastor, Brother Rick Porter.

Gillis was a recognized educator and volunteer in the Little Rock community and will be sorely missed.
