EARLENE PERRY, 70, of Little Rock, passed away Friday, July 7, 2017. She was born on Oct. 24, 1946 to Earl and Mary Reynolds in Little Rock, Ark. She retired from Kroger after 40 years and was a member of Hope Missionary Baptist Church.

Earlene was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her beloved husband, Lewis Perry; her sister, Aline Russell of Fort Smith; two daughters, Barbara (Fred) Cothren of Vilonia and Anita (Wayne) Bridgeman of Mabelvale; four grandchild­ren: Erin, Colton, Miranda, and Nicholas Bridgeman; and two great-grandchild­ren.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 I-30, Little Rock, Ark., 72209, (501) 455-5800, with burial following at Forest Hills Memorial Park. VIRGINIA “CAROL” WELCH, 89, of North Little Rock, went to be with her Lord July 8, 2017. She was born Aug. 22, 1927 to Ralph and Victoria Edwards in Beebe. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Curtis “JC” Welch, and her parents.

Carol loved God and her church family at Levy Baptist Church. With a servant’s heart, she volunteere­d almost 50 years at Memorial Hospital, now Baptist Springhill and she also volunteere­d at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Carol was of noble character, a homemaker and she was a Brownies and Girl Scout leader. She loved being outdoors, camping on Lake Ouachita with JC and her children. With every meal, she would ask for a “Fresh Hot” cup of black coffee.

Carol was a very kind and simple person, she loved animals and always fed her scraps to the “critters” at home.

Carol is survived by her son, Larry Edward Welch (Jane) of North Little Rock; daughter, Nancy Holsted (David) of North Little Rock; two grandchild­ren, Brian Welch, Latisha Daniel (Jason); two step-grandchild­ren, Jeff Holsted (Crystal), Adam Holsted (Crystal); three great-grandchild­ren, Hailey Daniel, Mary Addison Daniel, Hudson Daniel; and five step-great-grandchild­ren, Jacob, Kobie, Jaci, Dylan and Lauren Holsted.

Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday July 11, 2017, at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Ark. 72116. Burial to follow at Antioch Cemetery near Beebe. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
