MADELINE GRACE SMITH TIMOTHY PATRICK IGO
Madeline Grace Smith and Timothy Patrick Igo were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 22, in First United Methodist Church, Little Rock. The Rev. David Freeman officiated.
Susan and David Alan Smith of Little Rock are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Barbara and Dr. Thomas Moore Fletcher and the late Frances Loraine Fletcher, all of Little Rock, and Barbara and the late James Neill Smith of McGehee.
Parents of the bridegroom are Kathleen and Thomas Edward Igo of Frederick, Md. His grandparents are the late Anne G. and B. James Igo of Somerville, Mass., and Cozette and the late James E. McGuire of Reston, Va.
The altar held two large arrangements of hydrangeas, roses, stock and larkspur in creams and whites. Music was by organist James Stanley and soloist Lena Derisavifard.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory fit-and-flare gown of satin and tulle. Chantilly and guipure lace embellished the bodice and the cathedral-length train. She carried a cascade of white roses, cream spray roses, white stock, dusty miller and eucalyptus.
Kristie Flynn of Little Rock was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kelsey Igo of Frederick, sister of the bridegroom; Lindsey Jordan of Maumelle; Rachel Petty of Oklahoma City; Maria McKiege of Houston; Loring Knott of San Marino, Calif.; Caitlin McCaslin of Dallas; and Sara Harris of Little Rock. They wore strapless gowns of ivory satin twill and carried white and pastel pink bouquets with roses, stock and eucalyptus.
Flower girl and ring bearer were twins Olivia and James Hite of Cave Springs, cousins of the bride.
John Igo of Frederick, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Brian Igo of Boston, brother of the bridegroom; Matthew Smith of Washington, brother of the bride; Ben Brooks and Danny Foit, both of Frederick; Mike McNulty of Milwaukee; and Zach Gillis and Gary Wilson, both of New York. Guests were seated by Taylor Smith of Chicago, cousin of the bride, and William Fletcher of Little Rock, uncle of the bride.
Guests tables at a reception in the Country Club of Little Rock held gold compotes filled with cream flowers and eucalyptus. Long tables held foliage garlands with gold candelabras set in arrangements of hydrangeas and roses. Music was by Party Jammers of Memphis.
The bride has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Southern Methodist University in Dallas and is a digital marketer with 360i in Atlanta.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Elon University in Greensboro, N.C., with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and is attending Emory University School of Law.
After a wedding trip to Mexico, the couple will live in Atlanta.
