Learn to Paint the Bob Ross Way MOUNTAIN VIEW — Ozark Folk Center State Park will present Learn to Paint the Bob Ross Way, a four-hour class on the wet-on-wet style of painting popularized by late celebrity and painter Bob Ross. Teacher Brenda Lawrence is a Certified Bob Ross Art Instructor. All canvas, brushes, paints and supplies will be provided. Participants will go home with a finished 16-by-20-inch oil painting. 2017 Kids Art Exhibition and Reception BATESVILLE — The 2017 Kids
Art Exhibition — a display of art created by students in kindergarten through the sixth grade at the Batesville Area Arts Council’s Summer Art Camp — will be on display in BAAC’s Gallery on Main, 226 E. Melba Theater Anniversary Celebration BATESVILLE — The Melba Theater, 115 Main St., will celebrate the oneyear anniversary of the theater’s official reopening. The 1982 classic
E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial will be shown at 7 p.m. Friday for the regular price of $4. On Saturday, there will be a red-carpet celebration featuring live entertainment, food and a screening of the classic 1952 musical Singin’ in

Clothing Drive Challenge
CABOT — The Cabot Lions Club will sponsor the Clothing Drive Challenge to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Open Arms Shelter.
