NADIA GRABLE, known to many as Nana, went to be with the Lord on Monday August 7, 2017 at the age of 78 years. Nadia was born October 23, 1938 in Springfiel­d, Arkansas. She graduated from Central High School in 1956. She went on to become a nurse and retired from nursing at the age of 62. She was a member of Kellogg Valley Baptist Church of Sherwood, Arkansas. Nana was loved by many and would always do anything and everything she could for her family and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred McClaren McKascle (Earl); father, Eldon Grable; and brother, Darion Grable (Dorothy). She is survived by daughters, Alise Dennis (James), Angela Boxx Wiggins (Johnny); son, Bill Holt (Charlotte); grandchild­ren, Jamie Montgomery, Timothy Dennis, Brad Dennis (Jessie), Tori Dennis, Billy Holt (Holly), Melissa Wiggins, Jennifer Paap (Cody), Mary Wildhaber (Chris); great-grandchild­ren, Bryce Montgomery, Asher Dennis, Joel Dennis, Stefonn Robinson, Tre-nae Wiggins, Trevonn Robinson, Claytin Paap, Allie-Jo Paap, Meaghan Chambers (Terry), Gracie Watters; two great-great-grandchild­ren on the way; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial service will be held for Nana on Sunday August 13, 2017 at 3 p.m. at Kellogg Valley Baptist Church, 9516 Bamboo Ln., Sherwood, Ark. 72120. DON WESLEY LOWE, age 65, of Little Rock, passed way Thursday, August 10, 2017. He was born July 12, 1952 in Lepanto, Arkansas. Don was the owner and operator of B&D Window Cleaning and a member of The Church at Rock Creek. He loved to golf and was a member of Eagle Hill Golf Course.

Don was preceded in death by his father, Bryan Edward Lowe and a brother, David Lowe. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Johnnie Lowe; son, Ryan Lowe and wife Lauren; daughter, Jessica Hopper and husband Dawson; mother, Earlene Lowe; three brothers, Steve, Rick and Keith Lowe; three sisters, Beverly Lindstrand, Barbara Miller and Shelly Langford; and five grandchild­ren, Alli, Riley, Rafe, Sunni and Asher.

–––––❖––––– RICHARD F. MAHER, 87, of North Little Rock, passed away on Wednesday August 9, 2017, at Malvern, Ark.

Richard was born September 14, 1929, in Alton, IL, to Fred and Helen (Meyer) Maher. He grew up in Pine Bluff, Ark., and graduated from

Pine Bluff High School in 1947. On August 20, 1954, he married the former Viola Susan Brown, of Pine Bluff, in Upper Darby, Pa. Richard was proudly employed as a machinist and supervisor for the Missouri Pacific Railroad, later the Union Pacific Railroad for over 30 years. In his spare time, he was an avid Razorback fan, a skilled motorcycli­st, and a master engine tinkerer. Richard spent many of his retirement years as the captain and owner of three different houseboats on Lake Ouchita. He will be remembered by his friends at the lake as the consummate marina handyman who was always willing to rescue a neighbor or provide mechanical expertise at any time day or night. Richard was a very supportive husband who stayed by his wife’s side throughout 63 years of marriage. As a father, he was always willing to bait his daughter’s hook while fishing or offer coaching advice to his son on the basketball court. Richard will be most remembered for his integrity, his profound patience, his dry wit, and his heart of gold. He will be missed by all who had the good fortune to know him.

Richard is survived by wife, Susan Brown Maher; daughter, Melissa Ford (David) of Hoboken, N.J.; granddaugh­ters, Sarah Ford Madden (Matthew) of Beijing, China, and Mary Kathleen Ford of Atlanta, Ga.; grandson, Noah Bradley Maher, and his mother, Lisa Loftis Johnson and her son, Alex Wade all of Malvern, Ark.; niece, Marnie Huff Davidson of Little Rock, Ark.; and nephew, Dawson Thomas Huff of Apopka, Fla. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Patricia Maher Huff; and son, Philip Bradley Maher.

A graveside service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, August 12th. at Rest Hills Memorial Park, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, Ark. 72117. –––––❖––––– VIRGINIA (GINGER) BEESON McCALEB of Little Rock, Ark., passed away peaceful at her home on August

10, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born Virginia Dare Beeson in Albuquerqu­e, N.M., on November 21, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Grady Beeson and Beverly Bort.

Ginger is survived by her devoted husband of 36 years, Johnny McCaleb of Little Rock; her daughters, Lindsay McCaleb (32) of West Palm Beach, Fla. and Dr. Rachael McCaleb (30) and Caroline McCaleb (25) of Little Rock; sisters, Frances Cannon of Midway, Ark. and Maria Brinsfield of Hot Springs; brother, Grady Beeson of Houston, Texas.

Ginger was introduced to horses by her father at a young age, and quickly developed a passion for riding and showing. Later in life, she found great fulfillmen­t in sharing her passion of riding with her daughters, traveling across North America showing Quarter horses. Her proudest moment was watching her beloved horse, All About Lark (Big), win the American Quarter Horse Associatio­n World Championsh­ip. Ginger was well respected by everyone who came to know her. Those who knew Ginger, knew that she never met stranger. Her warm smile and infectious laugh could brighten any room. She will be forever loved and forever missed.

Funeral service will be 3 p.m., Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, Chapel, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas with Reverend Tony Griffin officiatin­g. Burial will follow at Riverwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-5 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
